TEHRAN -- Uruguay parliament speaker Ivonne Pasada will travel to Tehran on January 17.

The travel will take place on the invitation of Majlis speaker Ali Larijani.
In her four-day stay in Iran, Uruguay parliament speaker will meet with the Iranian president, the Majlis speaker, and other officials.
Developing friendly ties between Tehran and Latin American countries will feature in talks between Mrs. Pasada and Iranian officials
